Audition Location: Ryerson University, 122 Bond Street, Toronto

Rate: Non-paying student film. Actors will receive a copy of the finished film. Meals, and beverages will be provided for the shoot days.

SYNOPSIS:

Oxford is a rhyming and stylized fable that follows a young boy's journey as he tries to bring his deceased lizard back to life.

Breakdowns:

1. (Lead) WILLIAM: Male / 7-12 / Caucasian. William is a young boy who is both shy and greatly imaginative. His best friend is a lizard named Oxford, who recently passed away.

**Please note that this role does not have any lines as the film is only narrated, but William is featured in each scene of the film**

The audition will require the reading of prepared sides from a different script as well as potentially some improvisation

2. (Lead) NARRATOR: Voice Only. The narrator has an ominous, yet calming voice. They sound as if they are reading from a fairy tale book.
