Intentions: This short film will be screened at Sheridan College, and will be submitted to numerous film festivals.

Rate: We can accept union and non-union actors through our student agreement with ACTRA. This is a non-paying student film and no permit is required. Actors will receive a copy of the finished film for their demo reel. Meal and beverages will be provided on the shoot days. If transportation is required we can arrange for a ride for the actor during filming.
Storyline: LUKE and EMMA are married and own a garage where she is the mechanic. While Emma is becoming very proficient as a garage mechanic, Luke is the one who manages the household. They need an injection of cash for the garage and Emma has asked her father ARTHUR for some money. But Emma is afraid that her father will reject their non-traditional roles so they make him believe that the mechanic is Luke. Luke is clearly uncomfortable with the subterfuge but goes along to please his wife.
N.B.: Please note that the shoot is only ONE DAY for any actor. There are 4 different groups who will be doing this same script so each of the 4 teams will shoot for one day between Nov. 26 - Dec. 5.
(Large Principal) ARTHUR male 48 - 60 Arthur is a wealthy white collar executive. He's decisive and impressive. His daughter is the apple of his eye. He's proud of her and supportive, and seems to like Luke as well. So he agrees to help them and gives them a cheque for the full amount they asked for. It's only when he leaves that they discover the cheque is made out to Emma. They didn't fool him for a minute.
